Orchestra performance

Last week the Rosetta High School Orchestra came all the way from Tasmania to play at our school. They played some great songs on their instruments including 'Fame', and a Billy Joel medley. Room 3 really liked watching the conductor, as well as the big trombone, the guitars, the drums and the flutes. We were a great audience.

Book Week

Week 3 is Book Week. We will be ending book week with a dress up day on Friday. Children can dress up as their favourite book character and we will have a parade in Friday's Junior Assembly. We will also be doing Jump Rope for Heart on Friday afternoon so start practicing your skipping now!

Our Assembly

We hosted the school Assembly yesterday. It was lots of fun. We did a dance called "Put a little love in your heart" and did a play called "The Springtime Rock n Roll".

Happy b day Yannick!

Yannick was 6 years old yesterday. What a super six year old!

Room 3 fish

What a great start to the term for Room 3. We have started our 'Performance' topic and have two new arrivals to our room. We now have 2 fish in a fishtank, one boy and one girl. The boys have named the boy (who is silver), Sam, The girls have named the girl fish (who is gold), Rosella. Each child will have a turn to feed the fish in the morning.

Hello Room 3. I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday. I'm looking forward to seeing you on Monday. Our topic this term will be 'Performance' so we will be doing lots of singing, dancing and drama. What fun!
